My Carr ancestors are all around Durham and north of England.

Names of living people removed in accordance with rootschat rules

Michael John Carr - 1899 - 1969
George William Carr - 1874 - 1952
John Carr - 1840 - 1909
Michael Carr - 1805 - ? Has a son william born abt 1829
John Carr - 1768 - ?

There are addresses in Chester-le-street, Hetton-le-hole, silksworth, downs, northumberland, tunstall, lanchester, craghead and others.

They were miners, i have a photo of my great granddad with miners and in the war (1st),plus i have photos of John Carr (1840-1909).

Do you have any more information on the Carr line you are looking at - there may be some connections through the uncles that I haven't investigated yet?
