From the register of the Episcopal Chapel in Stonehaven:

Meness: March 25 1779 Mr Meness Mnr of Chapel had a Daughter baptised named Catherine.

From the register it appears that Catherine had a lot of siblings starting with Jean born 6 July 1759
and Robert a year later
