1911 has 479 Churms on England census - so there are a good few of them still around after 1904.

Many in Lancashire, but 14 giving a Durham address.
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

From 1904 onwards, 26 births, 22 marriages, and 18 deaths were registered
for Churm in County Durham, up to 2005/2006.

Hi there,
I'm actually a descendant of Mary Churm (I believe) but I can't find much of the churms from her husband.
Hopefully this messages reaches you, first time using this website.

I've done quite a bit of the Churm family as I'm from Shildon, Durham.
My great great grandad Joseph Churm married Isabella spencely and I know his mam (Mary Churm) was originally from Bilston Staffordshire. However, on Joseph's marriage index it appears that his dad's name was William Churm but Mary Churm was originally marrie to someone called Samuel while she was in Staffordshire

Best if you swap all your living people info re your family via the personal message system, as we are not permitted to put details of living people on the forums!  David, you will need to post one more message here, then you will have the three that you need to send your first PM (personal message).

No big deal, just reply and add a smiley or something.  Great for you to make a connection into your family so soon!
