why would u bother to use 1881 census cds when the information is on family search . org ?

Having used both, the cds were easier to search

..........and try searching Scotland on FamilySearch !  Index only, with parish, age and county of birth. The full LDS 1881 transcription of the Scottish census is only available at ScotlandsPeople.gov.uk, at one credit per view of the transcription for one household, or 5 credits to view an original page.
