Hi Pam. Many thanks for the suggestion, but I can't see that this is likely to take me where I want to go. I'm trying to obtain personal information regarding this Charles Handley. Who was he, where did he live, how old was he, was he married, did he have a family, what happened to him, etc? At the moment I have absolutely nothing except that he appears to have been the secretary of the Leeds Constitutional Society in the early 1790's. I may be wrong, but I am thinking that any summary of the trial isn't going to provide the sort of detail that I am seeking.
For anyone else reading this, I would be interested to hear about ANY Charles Handley who might have fathered children in Yorkshire in the 1780's or 90's. At present, he's the only one that I can find, and I can't find a baptism, marriage, or burial record for him. He just appears and disappears.
He must have been buried somewhere, so presumably there's a burial record.
