Mary Teresa Melia Born 1933 Ireland Died June 1986 Coventry

The only two places Iam aware of that Micheal Shanley ever lived in were Newcastle and Coventry.

That's all I know, I would appreciate any info you may have.

If you try freebmd.org the info you give checks out.
If you search there Michael Shanley marriage there are 2 results that fit
1912 in Lanchester ( district near newcastle) 1955 in Coventry.
In the result if you click the number at the right you will get the spouse's names ie Michael's mother and wife.
If you search births putting in Shanley and mother's surname you should get about 7 results all born in Lanchester.
I am not giving the results as we could be in the realm of people who are still alive and we cannot mention living people on this website. Also it is great to look these things up and only you know if the results are the right ones. Good luck- let me know how it goes.

Thank you. They got married in Coventry 1955 and I know all their children already.  But I am trying to find out what Micheal Stanleys Father and Mother were called and did Micheal have brothers or sisters.
These people are all dead now so if you know that info please share with me.

Hi Karl, I was not pointing you to the descendants of Michael Shanley, but rather to his parents and siblings which is the info you asked about.
This Michael Shanley is not part of my family tree so I actually have no info to share. From experience I had a quick look into freebmd.org and found this info which may or may not connect to your partners family tree.
A Michael Shanley married Sarah Fairish in 1912 - registered in Lanchester which is near Newcastle- so these may be your Michael's parents.
Between 1912 and 1927 they had 6 children one of whom is named Michael- his siblings??
The freebmd.org site is easy to use and if this is the right family you could go on to find out who they married, their descendants etc.
