info on Mary Hughes

Would love to get any info on Mary Hughes think she was born in the Antrim area (possibly Belfast) in around 1840 she married my great great grandfather Hugh Mechen (Irish variant Meighan) at St. Patricks Church Belfast and I believe they lived in Pilot Street Belfast.

Hi,
   I can find the 1867 marriage of Mary Hughes to Hugh MEWHA in Frederick Street Methodist Church. The fathers names were Hugh Mewha and Richard Hughes. The couple had a daughter, Elizabeth, in 1868 and the birth was registered in Ballymacarrett. I also found another daughter, Elizabeth Teresa, born 1877 and this time the spelling is MECHEN.

Many thanks for the replies to my post, Elizabeth Teresa was indeed the daughter of my GG grandparents they also had sons Joseph Jeremiah and Hugh. They were definately married at St. Patricks Church and at some time moved to Hull, East Yorks.  Thanks again for your help

Hi,
   I can find the birth of Joseph Jeremiah on 5 Aug 1873 and the birth was registered in Belfast District No.1. This district  included Pilot Street from 1867. In this instance the spelling was MEIGHAN
