Born today a 2nd cousin, George John Hosler in Shoreditch in 1914;  son of George and Elsie (nee Murphy).  George married Constance Middleton in Shoreditch in 1937; I think they had 2 children and he died in 1994 in Kent.

I am George John Hosler and Constance Middleton's Great Grandson! All of the details you made are right! We'd love to know how you are a second cousin to George. I do hope you get this reply

Hi Mr. Dando,

Welcome to Rootschat.  :)

I'm a grandchild of John Robert Barham (b.1880), who was the baby brother of Elizabeth Barham (b 1866) who married William Hosler in 1884.

Does that help?

Hi Nanny Jan

Did Elizabeth and William have sons Tommy and David?

My grandmother (daughter of George and Constance Hosler) remembers Elizabeth

I hope this is the connection

Hi,

There was David (1906 - 1974) and Thomas (1908 - 1986).  I've found 14 children for William and Elizabeth.
I think you need to make 1 more posting before we can use the PM system.

Thanks Bob, I was about to ask if I could add to the February thread!

As mentioned my 4 x great grandparents Samuel Crowsley and Catherine Childs were married on 1st February 1786 in Willington, Bedfordshire, not Kempston, as I mistakenly put in the database.  After Catherine's death in 1819, he married Elizabeth Tompkins.
Conquest, Crowsley, Giovannelli, Kingham, Marshall, Sewell, Wilson, Ashwell
