RAF Coach

My grandad is listed on a death certificate of his son with an ACI No and it says he was a RAF Coach. Does anyone know what the number is?
White, Ashworth, Johnson, Arrowsmith, Seyfang, Mulhearn, Clarke, Carter

Hi

I would think that AC1 was Airman first class normally used just after basic training.(what year are we talking about I would think the number would be his service number)

The date on his sons death certificate was 1941 and the number is 841806
