Witness Signature for 1788 Marriage

I think the the first name in the second signature is a shortening of archibald - with a small d on the end of arch as it is often written.

There's a marriage on A*try (1788 Battersea) between William HAMMATT and Hannah LUDLOW.

I'm pretty sure the signatures are the same.

I've checked Maureen's theory of the similar signatures. Yes, they appear "spot on", even down to the very same scribble. Good work Maureen
