Looking to find out what happened to my relation Richard Albert Martin and his siblings all born in Launcestion, Tasmania. The following is what I have  :-

Richard Albert born 1878 Launceston, married Louisa Gould 1899 Launceston
James William Henry born born 1868 Launceston, married Isabel Vincent 1893 Launceston
Charles Joseph born circa 1869 Launceston, married Emily Louisa Windsor 1893 Launceston
Peter Charles born circa 1871 Launceston

Their parents were James William Henry Martin and Mary Jane Miller

Hi Katlady,

There is a family tree that suggests that James William Henry Martin born in 1868 married Isabel Emily Vincent on 17th May 1893 in Tasmania and he died in New Zealand in 1946!

They died the same year? I can find neither on the electoral rolls after 1943.

In South Australia in 1908, RICHARD ALBERT  was having problems with wild goats and published this notice regarding his intention to destroy them on the land he occupied. The location is described.

The Hobart Gazette 30th October 1905, page 1338
In the Assessment Roll for the Rural Municipality of Brighton 1906
Roll No 4599 which was for a house at 16 Gunn St occupied by Richard Albert Martin the owner was George Julius Martin (jun) c/- Field & Hart.

George Julius Martin owned nos 2, 4, 6, 8, 12 14 and 16 Gunn St for a total capital value of 1200 pound.
