I believe there are entries for J Shepley and J H Shepley in the 1910 edition of Thoms. Geraldine St or Josephine Avenue, Dublin.


Anyone able to do a lookup and say what the business was?

Street listing shows J. Shepley at 32 Geraldine St., two doors from Berkeley Rd. jct - no occupation, no listing in index.

J.H. Shepley, is listed at 6 Josephine ave., again no occupation given.

Just a handfull of the 55 occupants of Geraldine Ave. list occupations (a D.M.P., one merch. tailor, two dressmakers and a 'G.P.O.'), and none of the occupants on Josephine ave. have occupations listed, which suggest they were not professionals etc.
