Great find! I would absolutely get those birth certificates:

BIRTHS JUNEQ 1857
Needham  Arthur -  Radford  7b 201
Thompson Arthur Milton - Radford 7b 201

-- although I'd be pretty certain it will turn out to be only one certificate, since a person's birth may be registered more than once, under different names, but they only get one certificate. ;)

The Thompson certificate will hopefully disclose a father's name.
