Yes thank you zace66, I do that all the time, hence the Kobo as the library doesn't support the Kindle, but there are often these free/cheap offers of titles for Kindle (which are not in the library) which I can't download to the Kobo - very frustrating!

If anyone downloads a book from the library onto their computer to be read using Adobe Digital Editions, although the file cannot be read after the return date, the file still remains on the computer.

If you got to the Documents library and look at My Digital Editions you will find the files there.

Up to you how you deal with them, personally i delete them.

Mumjo - I noticed that too, every so often I have a 'clean-up' session and delete the files. But then maybe I should keep them as I often don't remember what I've borrowed  At least with 'real' library books, I used to recognise the cover pictures

Roopat, even with the 'real' books the covers differ when they are reprinted or brought out in paperback so i keep a database of the books i have read and also those i want to read which goes with me everywhere, (stays in my handbag and as long as i have my handbag i'm fine  )
Helps with those charity shop searches too!
