Hi Sam,

Sorry to hear of your sad loss.

The Levi I'm talking about was a friend of my fathers. My father was born

in Denaby, West Yorkshire in 1900 and Levi was a few doors away. If my memory

serves me right, I think that Levi's father had the same name. I've got the census

          records somewhere.

                 Tomkin

Hi Sam,

Sorry - only four years late with a reply!! Not had a lot of pare time for the family tree and the bit I've had has been focused on a different part of the family.

Yorkshire is of interest. I have Callears in that area. Where/when was your Grandad there? Do you know any more about his family?

Hi I’m most likely a relation of the Callier / Gallear family. Mine are in the early 1700s and 1600s, they are from Wellington in Shropshire.

Most interesting! There is a mix of C* and G* spellings throughout the tree that I have assembled - people seem to have switched freely! Would love to hear more about your ancestors - certainly in the right place at the right time!

Hi, nice to hear from you.

My first relatives is Mary GALEARE who marries Thomas Tompson 1725 in Wellington. She is my 8x GGM providing I have the right baptism for my 6x GGF which is where the weak link lies, although after further analysis I’d say I have the correct one.

Mary was born 1703 in Wellington as Mary CALEAR to Robert & Eliza. That is the furthest I can currently go on that line.
