A thousand thanks for everything - I really appreciate all your help.
William Henderson had a long life of which he spent 45 years in BC, I'll try and find out what he did during all that time.
His death cert also gives a new lead, a nephew I didn't know about, Hugh L. Henderson !  Proof that researching ancestors is never finished !

Good evening everyone !  Further to Kathleen and William Henderson, I have been researching the above HLH  - he was born in 1918 in Toronto but came to live in Victoria BC ... he was a barrister solicitor.  I think he must be in Who's Who in Canada but I can't access that here in France.
He seems to have married a Mary E. Fraser about 1940/1941 but I have drawn more blanks !
He died in 1986 and I can't find an obituary anywhere .......
Can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Hi,

Marriage of Hugh Larratt Henderson to Miss Mary Rogers in January 1941 - Sydney, Nova Scotia.  He is a sub-lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve.
