Kathleen Henderson

Hello to all Rootschatters !  I am researching the above Kathleen Henderson who was born in about 1883 in Montreal , youngest daughter of the Rev William Henderson, Canon of Christ Church Cathedral Montreal.
Kathleen's eldest sister, Letitia married Rev Jervois Newnham, Bishop of Moosonnee and then Bishop of Saskatchewan.  When Letitia died in Nov 1941 , her obituary mentions her brother  and sisters and it would seem that Kathleen married a Mr C.A. Plummer of Vancouver.
I can find no record of the marriage - can anyone help ?

Kathleen's death as Katherine and name of father is given as Robert but mother's name is the same as on marriage records for Kathleen's sisters

FamilySearch has a birth of Stephen Fane Plummer 04 Nov 1918 at Vancouver and his death 03 Feb 1919 at Vancouver.  This narrows the marriage to between 1911 and 1918.

Thank you so much for all this information, Cosmac & Linda - it is wonderful !  I was really beginning to wonder if Kathleen had married ....
I have  one other query about Kathleen's brother, William, who was also in Vancouver.  I thought he had died in 1951 but now that he is mentioned in her obit , it can't be the right death ... he was born in 1872.  Unfortunately, I know nothing about him, his career or his life .

I do have another brick wall in Canada !  With the Newnham family mentioned in my first posting.  Letitia & Jervois ' daughter May Louise married a Noel Jackman in abt 1921, he was living in Saskatchewan at the time but I have never found the marriage.  They had a son who died as a baby and then a daughter Letitia.
As far as I understand, Letitia Jackman married an Arthur or Arthus Wallace but then she seems to have married again to a Mr Fraser.  I wonder can anyone help me sort out this muddle .........
Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Your William Henderson died 4 December 1963 in Saanich (near Victoria) BC.  Here is the link to his death registration:

If you contact the public library in Victoria, BC they may be able to find his obituary.

Library and Archives Canada has a number of fonds (files) relating to the Newnham family, one of which was donated by their daughter Mary Jackman in 1963, living in Hamilton, Ontario.

The linked description for another of the fonds (titled Mary Louise Jackman fonds) gives a short biography of Mary Louise Jackman.  It states that the Mary Louise Jackman fonds also include genealogical information about the family, although it's not available online - you would have to request a copy from LAC.
