Looking for info on Emily Abbott born 1871 ? Hull died  1961i Hull. She wed David Allbones in 1890 trying to find her parents . I know she was in Anlaby Road Workhouse Hull on the census of 1881 would like to find her birth register but for some reason cannot. Do you think she was not registered ? I have other relatives that were not.

There is an entry for an Emily Abbott with Sarah age 20 and unmarried on the 1871 census as visitors....There is also Thomas Abbott...FIL age 58...all with the Verlen Family.

It looks like Sarah was probably her mother. Sarah died Hull 1878. Maybe Emily was registered away from Hull, maybe her mother was sent elsewhere to have the baby?
