Thanks for your help.    Sarah Ann and Walter have been "bugging" me for months.

I can't find her birth or her marriage to Walter.

His name is definitely Walter Thornton, although it looks very much like Wallis on the 1901 census.

I thought I'd gone round every angle to find Sarah Ann's birth or parents details, perhaps I should try

working from the Wilkes side.
