My ancestor, John Oliver, is shown living in Bramwith Woodhouse, Kirk Bramwith, in the 1841/51/61 censuses. However, the 1851 and 1861 censuses state John's birthplace as Smeaton, Yorkshire. I'm not sure but I'm guessing this may be Kirk Smeaton.
Is anyone able to please look up the baptisms for Kirk Smeaton for me. I believe he was born in about 1802. I'd like to know who his parents were and any other information that might be available.
