He was convicted of having unlawfully taken a certain salmon, value 6/- , from a private fishery in the parish of Awre, the property of Mr Henry Awre. The case had been adjourned from the previous August for the purposes of gathering certain evidence. Fined £2 plus the 6/- , plus costs; or one month in prison.
