« on: Friday 04 January 13 20:49 GMT (UK) »
Hi out there,
Looking for photos of Henry William Cosby PHILIPS (Phillips)
head teacher at Warkworth school 1900 to 13.

I have one pic of him from book found in Library ' 125yrs Education in the Warkworth District'
Hoping someone has another! or any ideas on where to look.
Have contacted the Warkworth Musuem but they didnot.

Where are school photos kept? Thanks for any help :) :)

He moved from Warkworth to Kohukohu and was there from 1914 to 24.

School reunion books are usually the only place
Look at all reunion books available

School Photos arenot  stored elsewhere specifically

Trying places like oldfriends.co.nz and ask the oldest pupils incase they have family who were there

There is a book for Kohukohu
Kohukohu 1881-1981 : the district and the schools

Thanks Althea

Have all ready checked out the Kohukohu book Only has his name.  His two sons are on the WW1 memorial there.   And looked at photos on Old friends.
He was also at Waipu before Warkworth.
Will keep looking.

Hello.

Waipu is steeped in pioneering history, with one of the better community Museums in the country. There would be no harm in looking up the web pages, and emailing them.

Hi  :)
I am also currently tracing Henry William Cosby Philips and have come across your post requesting photos ... just wondering if you had any luck finding photos of him?
Fingers crossed!
Cheers

Hi Purple 11
Yes I have a couple of photos.
Will have to dig out the copy and will contact you.
How are you related?
We are connected by Frank his younger brother.
Been a few years since I was doing this family.
Regards
