Age did fit with Caroline's death.....20th January 1885 at Unley. She was aged 57, residing at Unley, and husband is listed as William Price BARRETT.

Henry George BARRETT aged 33 of Unley died at Unley 23rd August 1883.
No relative listed.
Ref = Ade 130/215

It looks very likely, as his mother was residing at Unley when she died.
Also there’s this marriage….

Emily BARRETT, widow, aged 32 married Joseph James WHITE,widower, aged 55  on 8th November 1883 at the Presbytery, Port Adelaide.

Charles Augustus BARRETT aged 74 of Prospect died on 28th July 1948 at Eastwood.
No relative listed.

There is an online tree for William Price Barrett which suggests that Charles Henry Augustus BARRETT married twice, once in NSW and again in South Australia. I've found lots of information that may back this up, but won't post it until Shally returns and tells us who she thinks is the link to Henry George BARRETT.

Same tree has William Price BARRETT dying in Broken Hill in 1905......there is the death of a William P BARRETT on the NSW index for 1905 in Broken Hill, but guess what.....no parents listed!!!!!

Thanks Dee, Ladyhawk and Cando for your info. I live in country South Australia and rely a lot on the internet to get info. What I've been trying to confirm was a link between William Price Barrett and Charles Henry Augustus Barrett. I thought I was barking up the right tree but couldn't get proof. Charles is my grandfather and his father was Henry George. The info on Williams parents, etc is great as I did not know their names. Thanks. From what I can work out Henry George had Charles before he married Emily in 1881 and Charles parents never married or obviously got together. William Price Barrett did die in Broken Hill but in 1892. Dee, you said you have info on family tree with William Price Barrett and Charles mentioned in it. I would be very grateful for the info as it could confirm the link I'm looking for. Thanks.
