MIs for Botwnnog

I wonder if anyone has access to the above, or equivalent, for Botwnnog (or Mellteyrn). I'm looking for graves which refer to a farm called Cellar/Selar .

Looked at GFHS MI fiches at Caernarfon Archives this afternoon. Didn't have much time; didn't spot anything referring to Cellar/Sellar at St Beuno, Botwnnog or St Pedr, Mellteyrn. However there are 3 graves (out of 10) in Baptist cemetery Tyddyn D---- (can't understand my own writing, will check !). Inscriptions in Welsh - basic info below:

002 Robert Jones, son of John/Ann Jones, Cellar, Botwnnog, 11/11/1925, aged 53. Faithful deacon with the Baptists at Portmadoc for 13 years. Also Jane Jones, 02/12/1938, aged 74.

003 John Jones, Cellar, 24/06/1886, aged 76. Also Ann Jones his wife, 01/02/1901 aged 72.

009 Catherine wife of Griffith Jones, Cellar 23/01/1939, aged 68. Also Griffith Jones, 26/01/1951, aged 88.

There are a number of other churches not far away. It's possible that burials have taken place in other locations connected with the family, or nonconformist cemeteries.

Ty'n Donnen !

On fiche and catalogue it says TYDDYN Donnen, but book on history of Welsh Baptists says Ty'n Donnen. Baptists in the area started meeting in a house of that name, but landlord threatened to evict tenant if the practice continued. Someone else offered use of his house and later gave them a lease on a piece of ground to build a chapel, which was named Salem, but commonly referred to as Ty'n Donnen.
There's a grave, C021, at St Gwyniain, Llandygwnning:
"I gofio'n annwyl am William Griffith Roberts (Gwilym Selar), Botwnnog, a hunodd yn dawel Ionawr 29, 1990 yn 69 mlwydd oed.
Gorffwys mewn hedd."

Thanks again. I suspect, from what you've found out, that two of my ancestors might have been baptised in the chapel. do you know when the cause started ?

Didn't make a note of that; I think it was late 18th Century, I'll check sometime next week. I'll also check what Nonconformist Baptism records are available; if available they'll be on film at the Archives.
