It is not stated in your profile, or in your signature if you are resident in the United Kingdom so it will be interesting to see if by chance you should be outside 'Home Waters' if the following links work for you.
1) Try connecting to
http://www.old-maps.co.uk/ if that connects for you, try entering the coordinates 277400 & 189800 into the boxes. Let the map rebuild.
2) Select from the menu on the right hand side the 1:2500 map of 1876, and hit 'Enlarge Map' and let the map re-build, what comes to screen could well be of interest to you. There is a magnifying glass available for zooming in one level. If this is of interest you could next try:
3) Selecting the 1:2500 map of 1899 and compare the changes. There are a number of 1:2500 maps of later date that you could also bring to screen.
Another course of action is to use Google Maps enter 'SA13 2UR' and drag the yellow man to the road and view the houses via 'Street View'.
