Could someone please recommend  Family Tree Software I have been using Who do you Think You Are Family Tree Maker for many years now but it wont work on my new laptop I was always happy with it but they change things and not always for the better so has anyone used the newer version and found it still ok or should I try something differant

I use Legacy Deluxe version and find it very good.....used it for many years without issues. You can download the standard version free from:- http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/ Hope this helps?

Before I started on my research I looked at 6 different software packages. In the end and after two weeks of trialing them, I settled on Family Tree Maker.
AUSTRALIA WAS ALWAYS DESTINED TO BE A GREAT COUNTRY. AFTER ALL WE HAD THE WORLD'S BEST JUDGES SELECTING ITS INHABITANTS.

It's really a matter of trail & error as SherlockBones says & of course personal preference...I too ran with a number of others before settling for Legacy......Good Luck with your choice elf  :)
