On 22 January 1888 a second cousin 1 x removed, Augustus Thomas Peppercorn, was baptised at Islington St Mary, London.  He was the son of Augustus and Sarah (nee White).  They were artificial florists, like the Giovannelli and Kingham families, and Augustus Thomas later continued the business and did well, as he left £13,500 in his will when he died in 1953.  Incidentally, I made contact with a Peppercorn descendent through RootsChat, for which I am very grateful!

On 24 January 1902  a third cousin 1 x removed, James H Conquest, was born in Genesee County, Michigan, USA.  He was the son of Thomas James and Sarah Rachel (nee Troop).  He seems not to have married, as in 1940 he was still living with his mother.  He died on his 76th birthday in 1978 at Clio, Genesee County.

On 26 January 1840 my g.g aunt Therese Giovannelli married William Kelly at Newington St Mary, London.  Later several of this couple's children became involved with a troupe of acrobats called the Leopold Brothers, and some of them had Leopold as a second name.  I haven't been able to find out much about the troupe, but was pleased to be able to find that they did exist and were not just a family myth!
