On 22 January 1888 a second cousin 1 x removed, Augustus Thomas Peppercorn, was baptised at Islington St Mary, London. He was the son of Augustus and Sarah (nee White). They were artificial florists, like the Giovannelli and Kingham families, and Augustus Thomas later continued the business and did well, as he left £13,500 in his will when he died in 1953. Incidentally, I made contact with a Peppercorn descendent through RootsChat, for which I am very grateful!
