And from me, too, Birthday Wishes to RC on its 9th Birthday; and many, many thanks to Trystan, Sarah and all the Mods for all the hard work setting up RC and subsequently  holding things together.  I am a comparative newbie, having stumbed into RC four years ago after googling an ancestor and finding there was a thread on here about  his village.  And after a couple of visits, and some very kind responses to my queries, I was hooked and have been a regular visitor ever since.

Kind regards

Oooh, another celebration. Great!

I won't mention names, but if I hadn't found RootsChat then I probably still wouldn't know who my father was - that's how important it has been.
Many thanks and respect to all those who help others, and for Trystan and Sarah for providing the means to do it.
And thanks, Bob, for mentioning those who sadly passed on last year.

Happy Birthday, RC!

'Hat.

Just wanted to add my thanks to Trystan, Sarah and all the mods who have kept us (more or less) on the straight and narrow for the past 9 years  :)

I haven't been posting for 9 years but it's certainly over 8 since I found you and haven't wandered far since. I've found some genuine friends on here and a LOT of help with my research.

Most people have been kind to me and supportive .... I've been using a great many family history sites over the years but this is the one I come back too the most.

So..... many many thanks and

HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY ROOTSCHAT!

Happy 9th Birthday Rootschat
I 'found this site about 4 years ago and like others haven't strayed too far since - so much fun and so many friends made - and so much learnt about my family.

Many thanks to Trystan Sarah and all the mods for a wonderful and well run site!
