Hello all
Thank you very much for all the replies.  Derek, thanks for the link.  It will come in very useful in the future as I did not have it before.
pdm 106, I have found a burial in Ashby on the NBI for an Edward Forster on 20 June 1835.  I am wondering if the actual record gives any further information eg abode, occupation etc.  Any help will be much appreciated.
Carol I have 2 baptisms off IGI as follows and wonder if you have time you could check the original entries for further info regartding occupation , abode etc of father.
26 March 1824 Elizabeth Jane Robinson FORSTER daughter of Edward and Mary FORSTER
2 May 1826 William Robinson FORSTER son of Ed. & Mary (as above)
Again, any further info will be much appreciated.
Happy New Year to you all and thanks again.

Hi Angela

No Problem, I should be going to the RO the week after next to look at Measham records for my own family (Hines)

Have you looked at this site? Measham records go back to 1680

Best wishes
