I am trying to help a group of residents in Thimbleby Nr.Horncastle Lincs to find information about the villagers killed in the 1914/1918 war. One of them is Private 24784 George Taylor he served in the 9th batt.Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derbyshire regt.) and was killed in action on 4th Nov.1918 and is commemorated in Sebourg British Cemetery.This is all we know,if we can find a living relative of George,or anyone can help us to find any more information we would be very grateful.
