driver manager

cnet.com has various user reviews about this driver manager, sorry to say all bad.
One reviewer is trying to get a refund on monies paid.
The recommended driver updates in some cases are 'old software drivers'.
The link I found was for customer support - removals- updates and key probs, all give as a broken link.
 Not something I would use/recommend

My thanks to everyone.
It does appear that my fears about Driver Manager have been confirmed and that it is neither a Microsoft or Norton - Symantec product.
Won't go about the hopeless task of trying to recover my money (Scottish though I am).
Will endeavor to uninstall product conventionally and block any further communication from them.
Wish me luck!!!

Hi there,
It appears I have successfully uninstalled Driver Manager from my computer using their own programme. We shall see!
Its operation was a bit quirky and made me suspicious of the product.
My thanks again, hope I did the right thing.

Nick: Could that drive manager be malawares?
By that I mean not the program but nasties.

I suppose it depends on where you get it from.   It's always advisable to download programs from the people who write it.  Even 'trusted' sites can be dodgy these days.  I'm not sure why you would need a driver manager - Windows seems to do a good job managing its own ?

Hi Nick29,
Thank you for pointing out why we don't really need a driver manager.
Have already uninstalled as reported and feel more comfortable to let Windows do the job.
