Royal Flying Corp record - help to decifer text needed
« on: Monday 24 December 12 06:44 GMT (UK) »
I have obtained an individual's RFC record of service from the National Archives, but need some help in decifering the brigade notations and other handwriting on the record.
If anyone could direct me to a good reference or another board that may be able to assist, I'd appreciate it.

Hi herlingo, and welcome to Rootschat  :)

The Deciphering and Recognition Board should be able to help: http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/board,425.0.html

Mind you, if the document contains a lot of military jargon and/or abbreviations, the decipherers may have to refer back to the military board experts  ;)
