Hello Ankaret
My research is not yet complete but I am compiling/transcribing the parish records of Deal, Walmer & Sholden. At the moment there is a gap between 16something and 1780 in the St Leonard's records which I will attack after Christmas.
I have all the Walmer records and it seems there were far more Bowles in Walmer than in Deal. I have 62 baptised between 1560 and 1840 only one of which was Hannah. She was baptised at St Mary's, Walmer 21/11/1731 daughter of John & Hannah BOWLES, the right age for the marriage to Richard Dawes. Hannah, the mother, appears to have died in childbirth, being buried at St Mary's on 30/11/1731.
Hannah was one of two children baptised at Walmer to John & Hannah so there might possibly be some more in another parish. It might be possible that Richard Dawes married again as there is a family baptised at St George's in Deal to Richard & Jane DAWES in the 1780/90 era.
Not a lot of help, I know but I should have more to go on when I get to the St Leonard's records later on.
Kind regards
AJ
