Another thought that I just had.....it may be the pictures stay as a small icon until someone views then they may appears as small images viewable without clicking on them  ???

It's postage stamp size until I click on it.  I don't do restorations but I do like to see what people have done and now it looks as though I'll have to click through the restores individually.

One click seems to enlarge them and fixes them on the page.

That's true silvery, but in PNG format and windows is unable to let me fix it without tranferring it to photoshop to change the format to jpeg.

Hello Xinia,

I am sorry that you are uncomfortable with the new changes. The technology that RootsChat was using  was nine years old and was becoming almost a "record" in a world of mp3's.

The upgrade has carefully saved all the work and memories from now some of our now departed members and we have now made it faster and more viewable to people who couldn't use it before. 

Give it a few days and I am sure it will grow on you  ;)

 I do accept what you are saying,  however at the moment, my head is in need of time to take it alllllll in. 

No doubt, after xmas when i have lots of free time.  I will be able to get to grips with it.
