The mixed colours in the various fonts/headings also feel  hard on the eye.

It seems to work fine, and is easy to navigate.

Well call me an old stuck in the mud but I am not finding it easy to navigate at all how do I find my last posts? I am sure Trystan and co have worked very hard on the new look  and I am sure even I will get use to it eventually but right now I am confused and feeling lost among the adverts and having to search hard for buttons that used to be clearly placed at the top of the page. I do like the new logo but I thought it was Roots Chat with two words?
Ah well I will have to keep trying to adjust as underneath all the change I am sure my dear friendly helpful RootsChat will appear still smiling a big welcome
Trees a bit confused by it all

Hi all,
The new format looks great.  I'm having serious withdrawals for my regular twice daily (or more) chats though.
I do hope that the chat gets fixed soon.  It's my one link to many others around the world and I'm going stir crazy.

Glory be, no midnight lockout!  Well done and thanks to everyone who has worked so hard on this upgrade.  One thing I have noticed is that people are complaining because they can't find things which I never knew existed, such as indications of their previous posts.  What a surprise, I never knew you could do that!  ;D

Minor criticism (in agreement with some others) - narrowness of typeface, particularly in topic titles (wrinkly that I am); huge praise, though for the speed of things, especially loading new pages in 'all unread topics' which used to take ages.

Hi Keyboard

but this blessed "Contact Support" hanging over my post, is driving me nuts

Couldn't agree more - it's doing my head in as well.

Hi Trees

see reply 212 re: previous posts - Trystan is aware of this problem

The contact support button is large because if anyone is having problems it will be over the next day or two whilst we fix the little problems like the smilies.

What is the "Send this Topic" for?  I clicked on it and it showed my name as on here, my e-mail address, space for a comment, space for recipient's name and their e-mail address.  Does it mean we can just link a topic and e-mail it to a non Rootschatter?  Did we have this before?
