Thanks for the new look, it is looking good  :) and like s.o. else, I love the new way of searching, such an improvement. And I have just had a look at the mobile version - fantastic, so easy to read and navigate.

One little bug, when you have time please. I cannot find my old posts when I click on my avatar or the icon that says profile. I have clicked on two or three other members' and seen their old posts so I assume this is a tiny glitch.

I'm off to Mum's for Christmas in the morning, her broadband is at the library so there is no hurry finding my posts.

Happy christmas to you all

Not sure about the red/brown font for the thread names

Actually I think it's the skinny font, the colour isn't really an issue, it's just if I scroll down quickly reading it goes blurry on me .... and I've got pretty good eyesight. ;)

Hi Falcybe

See reply 155 - Trystan is aware of this problem

Has anyone worked out how to read our own previous postings yet?

Thanks for that - we are aware of that, and we will fix that

Thanks CaroleW,

I thought I'd seen something but I'm bouncing around like Tigger, exploring the new site so I hadn't seen reply 155 and I thought I'd better say something in case it was necessary.

Cheers, falcybe

Ooh all new and shiny!   :D  Congrats on the updated version, it's a bit of a shock at first but I'm sure we'll all grow to love it once we've found our way around  :)

What a lot of work it must have been, really appreciate all the effort and time put in.  Thank you  :-*

Having had the chance to view the changes on a different computer now, I have the following observations:
On this computer (my home laptop) the fontsize for posts about right, whereas looking earlier (on a computer at work) I had to stand back about six feet or zoom out the browser window (then have to zoom back in for other sites). This explains why some people were saying it was too small before (I thought they were being sarky originally!). The grey sides are still a bit of a waste (can't see why we need them, as we didn't before).
The comments from others regarding the font/colour of thread titles on the index pages in now more obvious as a problem - really unclear. Maybe a "non-narrow" font would be better.
And obviously the things we can't mention (without getting the post deleted) are still a pain. But that is down to position, as they are required to pay the bills.
In general, the look is good. The changes to navigation will just take a little time to master. And it is certainly quicker.

:)Getting used to it folks, but this blessed "Contact Support" hanging over my post, is driving me nuts!

NB Not on PC but mobile, have a great deal of time for the work carried out behind the scenes, and know that anytime soon I will be one happy bunny!
