Can you let me know where to find threads posted since one's last log in please.  Sandra ???

Top of the page, on the left, above the roots tree logo.  Unread for unread posts; replies for replies to posts.
Not initially noticeable.

Oh Ok...easy when you know how.

Many thanks.  Sandra

Well done, refreshing changes. The thing that I noticed most was the increase in speed when posting, changing threads etc.,

Just popped onto Cumberland Look Up Requests and got quite a surprise when the old format jumped back at me  ;D

Merry Christmas Everyone.

Oh and Wiltshire Look Up requests is also the old format - perhaps those haven't changed yet ?

I've been using RootsChat and recommending it to friends almost since its inception. I don't suppose that I'm going to change my ways, it's just that I'm a bit long in the tooth and and 'change' is a bit hard to get my head round these days.
I found a bit in the top left corner that is supposed to show replies to my posts (I think) but what about posts that I am interested in and have sent a reply too? The brown envelopes were a much clearer indication.

best wishes to the team for Christmas and the New Year

Yay.  I found the size of the font too big today and this resulted in my having to use left and right arrows to read everything.  Thank you for posting the Control & + , I tried the Control and minus and I can now read the threads complete without fiddling.

Technology know-how is a wonderful thing.  8) Sandra

If the new look is not completely set in stone yet is it possible to tweak the colours of the fonts.

I'm thinking in particular of the subject (in brownish-red) on the unread posts page.  Presently it doesn't seem clear, and in light of the fact that choosing that subject takes one to the thread where the subject is now deep blue and the name of the poster is the brown colour, can it not be altered?

Speaking personally, the thread subject in blue, would be much more agreeable.
There seems to be a fondness for using brown.  Any particular reason?
Post; preview; spell check; quote etc don't seem as inviting somehow.
Why not green as in Search and Logout?

Has anyone mentioned the improvement to PMs? Great being able to remove all messages older than a chosen number of days and to be able to search them by names or words. That will save a lot of time.
