I rarely log out, in fact only when someone else is using my laptop. Sometimes though, I find myself uexpectedly logged out. Don't know if it happens to others as well. I have variations on one theme for all my website passwords so it's just a matter of remembering which one it is for RC!

I'm not sure why my orginal comment, which I made earlier in this thread, was deleted. It was a genuine question and not intended to be contentious. Maybe some time when the mods are less busy, someone could tell me what I said which was so wrong?

Thanks Trystan and Sarah for a wonderful FREE forum which brings so much pleasure.  I can't even comprehend the work involved in such a major overhaul!

Like the new layout - am off to go exploring!

Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you.

You've already brought up this topic, Lizzie-

Not the same.  My original query related to the list of topics on "Unread Topics" and Berlin-Bob took one of my responses to one of his topics and made a new topic which is the one you gave the link to.

When I made the remark about responses to a topic alternating between pink and grey (or blue) I mean on each individual topic.  So if you look at this topic, you will see that the background my response is a different colour to the one immediately before it and that one is a different colour to my response and the one before it, i.e. one is pink, one blue, one pink and so on.

We had alternating colours between replies inthe old forum too.
The difference is very small and sometimes I can't see it all unless I change the angle of my laptop "lid".

When I mentioned this again on reply 152 of this thread Carole, Tristan replied on 155 to say that they were going to work on the problem.  :)
Best wishes HL

I don't think I noticed before (or else I've forgotten already!), but on this new Roots, the difference is very clear at the angle I have my laptop screen.

Here's a vote for the new colours - they are far more relaxing/soothing  than the old ones. This is especially so on the photo board when some of us waited for some one else to post so that we could get the background that we wanted.
