... except trying to work out how to find something I posted previously as I want to add some information to it. I used to get to this through the profile.
This only seems to apply to our own profiles, so, as someone suggested in a previous post,

as a temporary measure, open up a different browser to the one you are now using, so you go on as a guest. Find any one of your posts and click on your name. There you will get your previous posts.

The one thing I am finding difficult is the grey background, the type doesn't appear jet black and my eyes don't like it.This may be a problem for older eyes

It is very pretty and like all such forum changes it will take time to adjust to and time too perfect. The Spectator set about modernising its blog, the Coffeehouse, a couple of years back and they have gone through one awful transition after another losing 90% of the commenters on the way.

However, I have been a Rootschatter for over 8 years now and some variety is welcome.

Whilst I am here - a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

Have you noticed on any thread that replies alternate between very pale pink and very pale grey (or is it blue?)

Not sure about the red/brown font for the thread names but it's definately saving posts faster than previously and changing pages too. ;D  I like the new layout too.

I like it as well, but it will obviously take a bit of time finding the way around. Thanks for all the hard work.

What I want to know is how many cries for help have you had from people who have forgotten their password? That caught me by surprise when I turned on earlier as I never usually log out. Had to flick through my trusty notebook to find it.  ;D ;D
