When I enter this: LCXMASFREE I am told that the promotional code does not apply.

I have 2 accounts with FindMyPast on two email addresses, and I can't get into either of them with the SNOWFLAKE code. I was able to activate the code for one of the accounts a couple of days ago, I used some credits searching a couple of things, saved a couple, but it seems I can't use the remainder or log into the other account. I also have no saved records.  :-\ Does anyone have any ideas?
Whereabouts does it tell me how many credits I have left?
I will keep fiddling with it.  :(

Hi Ruskie,
If you go to (My Account) at the top of the page it should show you how many credits you have left for that account.
I followed the link in Nick's post to claim  50 free credits yesterday - signing in with my FindMyPast account, however I don't seem to had these credits added to my existing ones.
Today I thought I would sign up with another of my email addresses, and claim the 50 free credits.
This is the message I get......

Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this offer. This is either because the offer code has expired, or because you, or someone who uses your computer or shares your email account, has already activated this particular offer code.

Don't know why they could not give their loyal customers 50 credits on their balance.

Think I will give up trying. ::)

You may need to use the correct links to get the free credits, with the SNOWFLAKE use the link on the original post, and for LCXMASFREE use the link on the latest LostCousins newsletter

... use the link on the latest LostCousins newsletter

http://www.lostcousins.com/newsletters/dec12news.htm

Er ... that one gives 10% off subscriptions to FindMyPast.

This http://lostcousins.com/newsletters/xmas12news.htm gives the link for 50 more free credits.

:)

Hi koromo

Thanks for correcting that, I don't seem to have had that new newsletter yet, I got the credits by googling the code plus findmypast,

Andy

Hello RootsChatters,

Thank you to mfcnt (CASS) for posting another link.
I had no problem in collecting another 50 credits.
Looks like we will be very busy over the next few months, delving into our research.

I just went to Google (via Firefox) - typed in findmypast,
Signed into my account,
Went to Home Page,
Clicked on original link for - 50 free Credits (the one used for the Family Tree Week credits), which I used for the first 50 free credits.
Clicked on - Read More (for the 26th Dec. 2012)
Then clicked on - Claim Your Credits Now.
Then I typed in - the New Code, in the Box Provided.
The Credits were added to my total straight away.

It would appear that perhaps we are only able to claim for one account
from each individual Computer.

Hope this helps,
Jeanette H.

Thanks to all who tried to help me. I will have another go. I'm glad I am not the only one who is having problems with this Sarra.  :)

Amazingly, that worked!!!  :D

I am not sure how it works with more than one account on the same computer - I originally made two when they were giving away credits during some football games or other. I was able to use the two accounts then.
