Im confused as to how a leading genologist thinks Henry and Robert are the same person.

If Henry turned up as a convict in 1853 how can he be Robert who turned up in 1862.
Also the convict records state Henry was single and no children.

I wonder where she got her source of info from  :-\

Hi littleBirdieone,
I think it would be sensible if you were to make some edits to your original post because it is misleading and confusing.

To do this use the modify button you can see on your posts.

Strike through the word ROBERT in your first line and write- Henry-

Strike through the date of the CONDITIONAL PARDON as you have written and correct it.

There is every possibilty that HENRY found employment for a time after his pardon and was financially  able to return to England.  There are death listings in the name in England.

OR

Do you have an  ancestry that suggests he remained in Australia?

Are you descended from him through someone born here?

Sue

I agree with that I too dont know how some one could mix the two up. Just to keep you guessing as to where she got the info, Eliza Jane Wilson used the surname Cunningham too, arrived into Australia as a convict into tasmania and she married there to another convict. I have obtained her criminal records and also where she obtained permission to marry another convict.
Gillian OMarea( not sure on the spelling) want listen to anyone have had my cousin who lives in Perth talk to her but she want listen, that is why I am trying to find out where Henry went to.
Many thanks for your help.
Please accept my applogy if at times I write confusing stuff
