Restoring an old newspaper photo
« on: Saturday 15 December 12 22:50 GMT (UK) »
I am attaching a photo from a newspaper from about 80 years ago. The quality is not good and there is a crease line across it.  Can such a photo be imporved?

I'm not sure if your newspaper photo can be improved.

Perhaps another fresh photo would help you.

If you search on 'Trove" at the  link below, you will find one from another Australian newspaper.  This one is quite dark too.

Also someone with access to the Herald newspaper, which your photo is from, could perhaps scan another one for you.

I'm sure there will be an expert along soon to offer some help.
