hl,
Seeing what little info you have and the spread of the Bell surname. I think it will be difficult to find answers for your questions.....
So John Henry Bell was 10 yr old and living at 99 Foreman's Row on the 1911 census. ( His mother and family were also at 99 Foreman's Row on the 1901 census)
The shaft of Seaton Delaval Colliery was about 200 yards along a handy footpath from the east of Foreman's Row.
John Henry or Henna ( Many miners called Henry got nicknamed " Henna" or "Hennie") could have started down Seaton Delaval pit a few years after the taking of the 1911. And he could have been a pit fatality anytime from then up to anytime around, say, his 60th birthday ( circa 1960).
Or he could have moved away from the Seaton Delaval area anytime after 1911, and started down a pit a long way off or just nearby !
(The DMM website shows that more than 90 pits were within a 5 mile radius of Seaton Delaval pit)
The DMM site shows 3 Bell fatalities in SD pit but none of them are compatable with his birthyear/age at death figures.
Additionally the registration of his death should be recorded on the FreeBMD site, but it could be registered as simply John Bell, rather than his full John Henry Bell !
Nor can I see a definitive registration of a marriage for him. ?
Do you have any further info on him ?
http://communities.northumberland.gov.uk/006756FS.htmThis link shows map including Foremans Row in the proximity of the SD pit yard.( Foremans Row was supposedly the longest single pit row in Northumberland )
