Charles Thomas Bowden and Parents John Henry Bowden and Miriam Ann Ayres

I saw the chat from some years ago between gaynor50 and others and I didn't find out the result.

Amongst other details gaynor50 said

I am looking for parents of Charles Thomas Bowden who d. 1915 in Victoria Australia aged 59 years which would make his birth about 1856.  His death cert said he was born in London.
I found a birth cert in Bethenal Green Jun 1855 - 1c   263 for a Charles Thomas Bowden but I am not sure this is correct as I cannot locate any census's to cross match

Parents on death cert are:

John Henry Bowden and Miriam Ann Ayers

I have found a London birth record for Charles Thomas and Devon records for a John Henry Bowden and Miriam Ann Ayres but can see no child Charles Thomas and no connection to London.

Has anyone resolved this yet?

Yes that is the chat I saw.  It reported that no one had been able to find records of the parents.  I have found potnetial parents but no link to Charles Thomas.  I was wondering if anyone had since then found any links.
