Hello everyone, I have found marriage certificates married twice) For Hugh Robinson, the father of Hamilton Robinson, who died in Cookstown in 1889 aged 89, but I cannot find a birth certificate for Hamilton Robinson (born in the 1850s) or Hugh Robinson (born in the 1800) after much searching. Does anyone have any leads on birth certificates for Hamilton or Hugh Robinson? I'm stuck.
Civil registration of births didn't start until 1864 so you won't find ones before that date. Pre-1864 you need to search for baptismal records but remember not all survive and of those that do not all are online.
