Hello, I am seeking any information or descendants of Rose Theresa Mcrae.

1904  Rose Teresa McCrae married 15 Oct at Presbyterian Church, West Maitland, New South Wales, Australia to William Henry Elliott.

William Henry Elliott 22, of Kurri Kurri b Waratah, NSW son of John Elliott and Eliza Ann Pike ~ Rose Teresa McCrae 20, Domestic Servant of Kurri born Bathurst, NSW parents names unknown.

I would love to learn more about Rose Teresa McCrae variously known as Rosemary or Rosina Teresa McCrae or Crea.

1952 death cert says aged 68, there are no names against her father, mother, where born: Bathurst Australia.

I can find no birth record 1884 Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia.

Any ideas please.

4 other children born Bathurst and yet another born Orange. I wonder if she had been married before?

Hi,

Just for interest.

An Alex McRea 28, along with his wife Mary, 28, and sons Malcolm 5 & William 3 1/2 arrived from the Isle of Skye on the Midlothian in 1837.  The McRea family were part of the Highland Families that settled on Dunmore Lang's property 'Dunmore' at Paterson near Maitland.

McRea might also appear as McRae as well.
