Hi Alan,
I can't just do full blank searches, you will need to supply me with alot more details than just a name or two, for example: where they were born, where they lived, do you know for sure they were in South Australia. Dates are needed

Hi Shanko

Can you please have a look at the assisted immigrants to find a Christopher Howard and his wife Priscilla - probably from Northampton, would have arrived before 1853.  If they were not yet married, Priscilla would have been travelling under her maiden name of Beeby.  I would like to know which ship they arrived on.

Thankyou :)

    Hi  Shanko,

I have found some more information on William Joseph Lewis.

His father Henry Levy Lewis was married in South Australia around 18/12/1862 to Elizabeth Giles (nee Jacka). Any details on the register would be great.

He was a Ships Captain .

          Thank you     Dexter.

Hi Shanko, Sorry about the delay I have been away for a week. Another genalogist told me that about SA death certs when she looked at a certificate in the Mt Gambier district for me which had little info on it.

I will just focus on the shipping info for the PLACE family arrival between 1848 and 1860. They had to get here somehow  :-\

Cheers

Hi
Can I take advantage of your kind offer for look ups please?

I have a David Mackie born 1860 who left Scotland for Australia sometime between 1871 and 1881. I can find him on the 1871 census age 11, by age 21 he has gone. When in Scotland his name was David Michie Galloway but he was known as David Michie.

He reappears in Richmond Australia at the birth of a son (Jack Mackie) on circa 1896, Richmond. His wife' name was Kathleen Smith. I believe she died and he remarried around 1900. (They had two more children in Shepparton David and Carolyn)

Would it be possible for you to see if you could fill any details re this family. I am very interested in when David Mackie arrived in Australia, his death and details of his wife. I would love to fill in the 25 missing years of his life
Thank you very much

Dexter,

No sign of a William Joseph LEWIS with the above parents. I did however find 2 other children by Henry LEWIS and Elizabeth (nee: Jacka). If youd like their details let me know
