Hi Shanko, thanks for the offer of look-upsl.I am looking for any info re JOHN HAUXWELL, who arrived in SA sometime between 1871(he is in the census in Yorkshire 1871) and then appears in SA on 6-4-1879 re birth of a daughter 'Lily' to Marg.Ellen Davis. I have not been able to find his arrival to SA.In Yorkshire he had a wife, Elizabeth, and maybe daughter Isabella, born,1872 and son John,1874..His other Son Joseph, born 1860 Yorkshire appears in SA, also his daughter Elizabeth, who married Samuel Crabb in England and they arrived in SA  Port Adelaide, 10-7-1876 on 'Lightning'.  Not sure if wife Eliz.died on the way out, could you check whatever you have.Thanks..Rob

I would be grateful if  you have  access to the Unassisted Immigrant fiche, for
Victoria and could please look up the entry for Julia Blunden & her two
daughters Mabel & Emily Blunden who sailed on the SS Miltiades , October 1913. The
reference is 882-006. I have no idea which ports they sailed from or to or
where they were going once they got there.
I also know that her married daughter Mary, but known as Polly went to Australia with her husband and son. Both were called Albert Parker, but the husbands first initial was E. I don't know if they went before or after her as I cannot find them on the web-site for Victoria.
Many thanks

Jan

I only do South Australian lookups, so if you put your request in the Emigrants to Australia Board and start a new topic someone will surely be able to help you with Victorian shipping
