It's the name of the ship that arrived 1867 Victoria, Australia.
Still searching.....  :(

The MERMERUS was a ship that sailed later- maybe it sailed in 1867 too?

I wonder if it's Mariann?  If the 'a's aren't fully joined up at the top then I think this is a possibility, more of the same person's writing would be very helpful  :)
